So originally I had one hen laying on some eggs. She was consistent until another hen decided to go broody 2 weeks later.. she than began abandoning her eggs And switching boxes every day or twice a day.. so I just put her eggs that had developed under the new broody hen with her eggs.. i has one round hatch about 4 days ago and I pulled them and then now I have one hatching currently but the last 6 still have about a week or a day or two left. If I understand correctly the mama will sit on the babies for a day or two and then venture out with it.. Should I pull this one two then move her and her eggs to the ground in their own little area and let her raise them?? Here’s a pictures of her .

I ended up (having another broody I did this with since as well) taking each chick after it feathered out until she was done hatching all the eggs that were gonna hatch then depending on which hen I would return the chicks. I returned 5 to this white one (3 is left and she’s a bantam so they look like the same size almost lol) and my English orpington is standard size and she cares for all 6 of the ones that survived by herself as I gave them back to her and she didn’t accept them at first until night time I tried again
