First off i live in nebraska why do eggs hatch better in the summer thean the winter in the summer i get 95% in the winter it goes way down something i should do different

What kind of incubator are you using and what is the lowest your house temp gets at night?

Also, roo fertility often goes down in the winter.

gqf sportsman house stays at 74 they are the same chickens i used in the summer the chickens will be 2 1/2 years next spring im changeing them out next summer but i never have a good hatch in the winter

Well, the book I read says that fertility can drop in the winter. So it might just be that they are spending too much time trying to keep warm instead of getting down to business.
