Hatching eggs....

We have a chicken who is sitting on a combo of duck and chicken eggs. The chicken eggs hatched yesterday, the duck eggs have another 6 days to go. We have an incubator ready to finish off the duck eggs. Any advice on how to go about this? She has yet to come out with the baby chickens so we havent yet had the chance to remove the duck eggs.

some hens are willing to sit on them longer. if she wont , put it in the incubator.

will the chicks then die because she is not taking them out and bout to eat and drink?

I put small waterer (for baby chickens) and food near the mother. they have been fine !

no she will be ok no damage there !
