Hatching Guinea Eggs, Day 30 no pipping.....

I have two left in the hatcher that are still alive and have been in there since saturday so this is day 5! What do I do? I candled them theyre stillmoving but no pipping? My temps are 99 in a still air incubator a lil low I know and my humidity 67.

I always go with, if they are still moving, let them be. And FWIW, I can't usually get humidity up as high as is suggested and last year, they did alright. I'm hatching this year with chicken eggs so my temps are "too low" and the humidity is variable because I'm staggering hatches in the cabinet. My dates last year were 28-32 days at higher "correct" temps, I didn't have any come early. This year, I'm expecting more failures and later dates, being in with chicken eggs.

That's weird they are taking so long, but you are seeing movement. 101 is a little high for circulated airincubation, but if anything it would cause them to hatch a little early, not late. I doubt th 2 hrs with the light out caused the delay tho.

Make sure your humidity is nice and high (70% or higher), and hopefully you see some hatching going on soon.

Good luck.
I have one meet of 22 that hatched yesterday morning. Another was pipping. Today, 30 hours later, it has not gotten from shell. It’s beak is free and one wing. I’m afraid the moisture from inside the egg has dried on it. What should I do? Can I spray warm water directly on the shell? The incubator temp is 99 and the humidity is 72
