Ok guys,
My sons eggs are starting to hatch now. I just wanna double check some things. They are in a hovabator now....should I just leave them in there for a couple of days? I will give them water in a shallow dish to avoid drowning and allowing them to reach it easily...will they eat finely ground check starter or what?

Any help is appreciated.

Take them out of the incubator when fluffy and give them water and food in their brooder. They are not like chickens

Finely ground gamebird starter is used on these boogers. Coturnix, bobwhites, button quail, you name it

So they won't immediately need water or food?

They will need food and water immediately. Use a jar lid with marbles for water so they don't drown and ground up gamebird starter.

Thanks, the first one is out and the kids are thrilled!
