hatching quail and chickens

i was wondering if anyone has ever hatched quail and chickens in the same incubator like LG or hovabator? i had guy who is going to to buy some quail from me ask if i could hatch his game fowl chicken eggs for a fee but, he would not have enough eggs to fill my bator. so i was wondering if i could put some of my quail eggs to fill the bator 4 day later after setting the chicken eggs so both chickens and quail will hatch at same time. will there be conflict between the 2 or will this work?

Yes I have done that. My chicken eggs were due about a week before my quail actually, so I ended up with lock down humidity for nearly 10 days. I had a hovabator forced air and automatic turner. If you can time yours so that both quail and chickens hatch at the same time, that might work better. My hatch rate was only about 40% for the quail. The chickens hatched well, 5 of 7 trader joe eggs hatched.

thanks for the reply and thats great to know that i can hatch both. i think ill make sure i will hatch them at the same date. i tend to make excuses when my eggs dont hatch lol and with different date i will sure blame it on different lock down humidity.
