Hatching Quail Eggs

I have better results with higher humidity at lockdown. I aim for 70-75% - quail eggs are tough! A little extra humidity helps soften the shell a bit.

Some chicken egg turners work fine with quail eggs and others don’t. I haven’t personally tried the one you have but I think it just rolls the eggs rather than tipping them. If so, it should work just fine. Egg turners that rock the egg from side to side usually have replacement rails made for smaller eggs, but I’ve heard of people using a bit of paper toweling to hold them steady.

Many of my quail eggs fit fine in a regular chicken turner - my jumbos lay BIG eggs.
