I want to try to hatch some duck eggs along with my chicken eggs. I can do that right? All of them in one incubator, set on the same day. The ducks should be fine because they hatch out so much later than the chicks, correct? I want to make sure I give everyone as much of a chance to hatch as I can before I start this.

I am not sure that will work, and I think it may have to do with humidity. Have you searched the archives using key terms like "hatch duckling" and "duck eggs incubator" ?

I did but I think I was too specific in my wording. I swear I have seen posts on the chicken forum about people doing this. I just don't want to go into it blind.

I would caution it, because of the difference in days they need to be incubated, and I also agree that the humidity might be a problem. There might be some way you can finagle it, but I would be VERY careful.

Ps. when the chicks hatch, and if you keep them in the incubator along with the other duck eggs, the chicks might get a little rough with them, much like ducks do. Something to watch out for. Good luck
