Hi,
This is my second time hatching with a styrofoam incubator that I am renting from our local cooperative extension office. Today is Day 22 and the chicks are starting to hatch. The incubator sits on the wood floor in my living room. It's an old drafty house with a wood stove in the room. I just noticed that there is water/condensation under the incubator! I do not remember this happening last time. Do you think there is a leak? There is a plastic water tray inside and I added more warm water to it yesterday.
Part of me thinks if there is a leak, I can keep tossing in warm, wet paper towels until they all hatch. Yes? Or should I do something else?
Thank you!
Jillian
