Hatching shipped eggs for march hatch along you in?

Hi all Just got my twelve orpington hatching eggs in the post this morning!! debating weather or not to put em in now or not

I want to put them in as soon as possible but then again i have to let them settle for 24hrs. these eggs are all very pourous but i dont care i hatched many of them before just a bit worried because they were shipped! One question does the air cell have to settle at the top or the bottom of the egg? I have them all waiting in the sitting room in egg cartons with the ends facing down is that the right way to have them? and will i wait the 24hrs my impatience is growing by the hour
