Chirping
We purchased 6 Lavendar Orpington eggs from a local breeder. The parent stock was a Lavendar roo over Lavendar, Lavendar Mottled and Isabel hens. All 6 hatched, and three were Lavendars, but I am guessing that the other three are not—I am actually pleased with this, because we love a varied flock, but I would like to know what they are. I am guessing #1 is a Chocolate, and maybe #2? But these guys look pretty different, with one having a white belly and the other a more sienna color all over. The third mystery one is a solid pale cream color.
The other colors of Orpingtons the breeder lists having are: Jubilee, Chocolate, Chocolate Cuckoo, Lavendar Lemon, Lemon Buff, Blue, Black, Blue/Black Split and Mottled.
Also, can you tell what type #4 is? I am assuming lavendar, but is has yellow mixed in, and is not solid like the other two Lavendars that hatched. Thank you!
