Hatching tread

I have been reading and looking and there seems to be no tread entirly about just hatching.
There has been treads about broody hens and etc but not entirly on hatching
So i decided to start a tread entirly about hatching like:
what your hatching eg duck chicken (e.g sussex rode islands) peasant etc
when your hatching
how your hatching it:e.g broody or incubator
how many your hatching
If you have a problem or are not sure about something somebody might no.

i have set up my incubator today and fixed the temp ect
and tomorrow i will be hopefully getting 10 buff orpington eggs of a fella i no
this will be my first hatch of 2014

So share what you have

hatching day 5

these were from a health food store fridge, 9 spider veins and 3 clears

7 of the ones above from a friend's fridge have spider veins

5 of these above are developing, they were from a farm's fridge so 3 diff sources . one had detatched air cell. they are to dark to candle.



normally I dry hatch but since they are from fridges the air cells look smaller than normal so I have been adding water. 21 eggs in 3 homemade bators

wow thats cool i might try to hatch fridge eggs sometime.... keep updating on how they go

yeah but there just for hatching and the incubation i want this to be about after the hatching aswell and if anybody has problems they come here and somebody might no
