Hatching with Broody and Incubator???

I was wondering if anyone has started eggs in the bator and half way threw put them under the broody and had good sucess? I set eggs on the 16th and candled yesterday and alot have swimmers so today I put them under a first time broody, Im wondering how well they will do

HI chickenlady,

I was wondering the same thing and just posted this question to the broody thread. How long has your hen been broody? Mine just started sleeping in the nest box last night, and our eggs are due to hatch in 14 days.

I'd much rather have my hen raise the chicks than me have to do the work...
