I have a person that is worming her chickens and was wondering if she could hatch the eggs from the chickens she is worming. I thought is was a good question--better than throwing them away. Anyone have any experience on this.........

I have not tried this myself, but I've read of someone's experience incubating eggs after deworming the chickens resulted in severely handicapped and dead chicks. I'm afraid I do not know which dewormer he used, but I'd suggest playing it safe and rather don't hatch them.

I hatched my chickens eggs after deworming with safegaurd and got about a 50% hatch rate...I'm guessing if the hens weren't wormed my hatch rate would have been better because the incubators temp and humidity was perfect. My chicks are healthy but a few are tiny almost bantam size... We'll see if they grow to be regular size, right now they are one week old.
