Hatching Young Eggs.

My Ausralorp started laying about 3 weeks ago. I weighed her eggs today, they weighed about 40 grams, and when I looked at the yolks, they had the White "bullseye" mark that tells me that the egg is fertile, is it safe for me to incubate and try to hatch chicks out of these eggs.

Yes, it's fine. Usually it's best to wait until the hen has been laying for 2-3 months though so they can work out all of the kinks.

Most assuredly yes. I don't hesitate to hatch 1st eggs; the resulting chicks are not any different then chicks from older hens.

Ok, because I have heard that if you hatch smaller eggs than, the chicks would not get enough nutrients.

Some people claim small eggs hatch out small birds. If that doesn't bother you then I don't see why

Genetics determines the size the chicks will grow to. Pullet eggs have enough nutrients for the developing chick; if the eggs were abnormally small then there might be a problem.
