hatching?!?

It is day 21 and my chickens are supposed to be hatching. I lowered the temp. to 95 and made the humidity higher is there anythng else i should do???

Lowered the temp in the incubator?!?!? Where'd you get an idea like that? I don't believe you are supposed to lowered the temp until they've hatched and are in the brooder. 95ºF is the brooder temp.

You're Sure? Omw do you think i killed them it hasn't been like that long.

They could still be fine, just try to get the temp back up to 99-100F. Some chicks hatch a little later, I've had some hatch on day 23 so just be patient.

non of mine hatched till around day 22 23 so i wouldnt worry till then they just get dalayed sometimes.

nat - get the temp back up and hold steady until they hatch. I don't think it will kill them, but may slow them down by a day or two. Let us know how it goes. Good luck.

Well no action yet! It is driving me crazy!!!!!

Ouch, be careful with that temp on the last day. I had perfect temps and on day of hatch, the eggs got chilled for about 2 hours ( albet lower than 95) and only got 6 out of 14! Good luck

Thanks for all the help and stuff! Should I put more water in there to raise humidity because it is supposed to be at 70 percent but i don't want to open the incubator and let them get chilled?(day 21)
