Hatching

I have one of my chickens and she thinks she is a mother. She is constantly sitting on an egg that isn't fertilized. So I went to go get regular Trader Joe eggs that might be fertilized. How long will it take for the egg to hatch? Thanks for the help!

If the egg from Trader Joes was refrigerated it probably won't hatch even if it is fertile.

Have to disagree here. Although not optimum to have eggs from the fridge, allow them to come up to room temp and then place in the bator. I've had successful hatches on refrigerated eggs but the results were not great, in the 55% area
