I had just incubated some eggs. When they are on lock down 3 hatched on day 20 and when they were fully fluffed there was some egg that pipped but were not zipping. Could I have taken out the 3 really fast? or would it mess up the hatching??

They are yours. You can do whatever you wish. Some people do exactly what you are talking about. I don't.

First, realize that because something can happen does not mean it absolutely will happen each and every time without fail. A lot of times you can do things and nothing bad happens, but occasionally something bad can happen.

If you take the chicks out, the humidity in the incubator may drop enough that any egg that has pipped might get shrink-wrapped. I've done it so I know it can happen. But every egg that has pipped has not gotten shrink-wrapped when I opened the incubator. Just a very few. I don't open the incubator during lockdown unless I have to do something that I consider is worth the risk. Just because I cannot stand to wait for the hatch to be over is not a good enough reason to me for the risk. For some people, it is.

Shrink-wrapped is when the membrane inside the egg dries out enough to shrink around the chick and keep it from hatching.
