Have 17 eggs due this weekend.

! And I am so excited.
They are quail eggs, went on lockdown today and dissected all the bad ones.
So i started out with 30, and now have 17.
Not too bummed about it though, since i am happy if even one hatches.
So anyone else hatch quail? Or due this weekend?
I am really hoping to have some hatch on Sunday since that is my birthday

Wow two days early and I have two pips, and one zip, and all others shaking.
How exciting. Looks like my birthday is coming early this year!

Sad to report, that the first one hatched died in its sleep last night. The cause of the death is a mystery to me. Other than the fact that it walked lopsided and liked laying on its side and back, everything was normal.
If anyone knows what could have been the cause of death please let me know.
Good news for today is, all but 8 of my eggs have active movement right now, and I have three more pipped. Then this morning, I also had one baby hatch out. This one seems perfect, it is running, peeping, and annoying. All good signs
