My 2 white sillkies Momma Minny and daughter Maddy are sharing 8 eggs and setting side by side and I never know who will have what under them at any given time...is that normal...expect pips on Easter day...

momofdrew--the only suggestion I have is mark the eggs currently under your broody girls. They love to brood together; this is perfectly normal behavior for Silkies. You need to mark the eggs they're sitting on so you can remove any new eggs added to the bunch by any other hens. Otherwise, you may have staggered hatches--which isn't very good; someone always looses out.

I had two sisters broody together and they did great. Can you get pictures?

Haven't had a broody for quite sometime. Guess I'm going to have to get a silkie sooner or later... just for the brooding. I wonder if I can get Suze to sell me a reject pullet...??
