My chick eggs came in yesterday and hubby went and got them before I got up...long night with a couple of hypothermic chicks sitting on me under the blankets getting warmed back up.. Rain was heavy last nigh!!!
Anyway, he set up my incubator and when I got up he was in a bustle for me to get those eggs in the incubator. I had wanted to wait until I cam back from a Dr appt this afternoon. Temp was at 93 and I turned it up just a bit after the eggs had warmed. Needless to say when I got back the therm said 102. They got cooked didn't they???

No worries! At 102 your eggs are just fine! That is not even a serious spike. You only get damage over 104 for significant lengths of time. I have had eggs go up to 106 without harm, and others have had extremes like 110 with survivors.

TY my husband and were both upset that we may have killed them all. The incubator is now adjusted properly and I will try to candle them in a few days.
