Last year I got my first flock of turkeys. At just over a month they began "strutting" I found it so sweet to watch.

Fast forward to this year and my first time having geese. They just turned two weeks old and have started walking with their head and neck stretched out in front of them. Omg could anything be cuter you guys!!??!

If you want cuter wait until a little fluff ball scolds you for startling her or waking her up from her nap or not delivering breakfast fast enough.

I toy with the idea of hatching poults someday...they sound charming.

ETA: I'd be hard-pressed to imagine anything cuter than a gosling, but I am biased.

You should definitely get a couple. They are so much fun (though I'm being won over by the goslings )

Turkeys are so adorably ugly but I got geese because they're so hardy and easy to look after; I don't think I'd have space for turkey too.

For real, nothing makes me melt more than a gosling. In a way it's a good thing they only lay eggs for part of the year otherwise always having babies running around would be too tempting.

I wish they would lay year 'round...but brooding goslings for months inside would probably get pretty messy. I'd be willing to try it, though!
