a breed called red toppy hens or pure spanish red hens? If so, can you post a pic or direct me where to go to see a pic of this breed?
 
I think the toppy is some line of game chicken. Never heard of red spanish.
 
I had a Toppy. They are an American Game Fowl variety. Mine was black but I think they do come in red. She was a very sweet girl named- what else- Toppy. she was a typical Game hen in look, sleek with a top knot of feathers on her head like a mowhawk. She was a great chick brooder and mother hen.
As far as Spanish go, there is a White Faced Black Spanish and a Spanish Game Fowl. The Game Fowl I would imagine come in various colors but I have not seen any here in the States.
Google Toppy Game Fowl and you'll find tons of pics. Also check the feathersite inder "s" and you'll find the Spanish Game Fowl.
