Just wondering what some of the favorite treats are among egg layers.

I have to ask.... what is the white one? I'm in love!

Also... My babies LOVE mealworms.

From what I understand she is a black and white ameraucana. She also digs like a hound dog and mocks the noises of the wild birds... she is ...uhhh... unique lol

Just wondering what some of the favorite treats are among egg layers.

Mine love black soldier fly larvae - I can't find meal worms here in town or they are just too expensive. They are dried and don't smell bad. They love lettuce and cucumber also. They really don't go for their scratch mix that I buy but our local quail love it.

Good to know I'm not the only one whose chickens turn thier nose up at scratch..I bought a 40lb bag of it and the only things that like it are the wild doves and the chipmunk. Live and learn
