Ok so I have never had any of my birds shipped to me before but this year we are giving it a try. I really want some Welsh Harlequins and my hubby has given the thumbs up. My question is when is a good time to ship these. I live in Kentucky which means the weather is unpredictable at best. On the Holderread site it says to pick a no earlier and no later than date. Wow that leaves it pretty open. If you are from a similar area weatherwise, when do you get yours shipped.

I'm pretty far away from Kentucky, but I know that Metzer Farms ships Welsh Harlequins.

Early spring or late fall when its cool enough (not too cold though were theres snow on the ground that might stop them from getting here)
