Today I ran out and saw a small hawk flying off with my silkie. His grabbed her by the head. I yelled at the hawk and he dropped the silkie and flew away. There were no wounds but blood in her mouth. She doesn’t close her mouth and makes gurgling sounds in the back of her throat. Blood began to gather from her eyes like tears, but there are no visible scratches or cuts around her eyes. I made her drink water and separated her from the others. She is currently asleep. What is wrong with her?

Anything I should do? Her eye is swelled shut, so maybe her eyelid or eye was scratched, and I just missed it. I gave her some water and nutri drench by dropper, and she looks a little better. She has closed her mouth, so I don't know what happened there. She isn't moving much, so anyway to try and get her to eat?

Just caught this thread & I apologize so much. Did she make it? Theres alot of rescues around here, perhaps by you too. You should call around and ask if someone can look at her. Hope this finds you both well.
