The kill and feathers were under a leafless bush adjacent to a wooden fence. Most of the feathers were about 1.5 feet away. That particular bush is one of the places my birds like to hang out the most so I wasn't surprised that was were the kill was. I don't know what time of day. I came back at twilight, the weather was below freezing and the corpse was cold and hard.What time of day was the kill made? Where was it? In run? Open space? Under cover?
