Hawk/falcon attack…will she live?

I live in a very rural town and there is no small farm animal Vet around that I am aware of.

Today while I let me girls free roam, a falcon or hawk attacked some of the ladies. I heard the commotion and was able to get outside quick and saw it fly off. It was a very large bird. And the small group that was near where it came from came running. And one lagging behind. She hid for a while but I was able to usher her home. She lost an eye. Must’ve been a clean peck cause there was no blood. But I’m concerned about her neck. It is not bleeding either but it looks torn clean across but a very thin layer of skin or membrane is protecting/holding it together.

What can I do? I’m out of the blue spray but gonna go get some asap in the am. I was able to catch her after giving them all some time to rest and calm down and have her inside in a small crate. Will she be okay on her own?
I’ve never seen this film/membrane/skin layer before but it seems to be stopping it from bleeding and getting dirty.

Will do whatever we need to. It’s hard to get a photo of the torn area but will try my best. I don’t want to stress her by taking her out before my partner gets home so will update with a new photo. But one shows her missing eye and the other you can see through her feather to where the skin is separated. Maybe she got picked up by the head?

When you can, get some more photos, it's really hard to tell the extent of the injuries.

You may find that you will be able to better tend to her injuries on the neck if you trim the feathers away from the wound.

Depending on how large the wound is, Blue Spray may not be the best to use. It's good stuff for minor injuries but makes it hard to access a wound that needs daily care.

General care is to rinse/flush out wounds with saline or chlorhexidine. Then apply triple antibiotic ointment to the wound.
Do look her over for any more puncture wounds.
If she's missing an eye, you'll still want to get a good look at that to make sure the socket is cleaned out (use Saline for this).

Get her through shock. Sugar water or electrolytes, get her hydrated, then offer some normal feed.

She seems to be doing pretty well today. Still have her inside. I am going to try and get better photos posted today. There is not blood on her neck or around the wound which I’m just baffled by. And her eye as well. I got droppers today so I can put a saline mix in to at least clean off her face a bit.

And I examined and she doesn’t have any other injuries, eating and drinking water just fine. I think I got out there just in time.

So just examined her again and….I can’t find it. So yesterday is almost looked like her skin got stretched but didn’t detach if that makes sense. Almost like how stretch marks work. But I just looked for like 15 minutes for this area and I can’t find it. I wonder if it healed back up that quickly? Again there was no scarring or blood whatsoever around this strange wound. Just looked like stretched out skin. I have her in a small crate so she couldn’t extend her neck so maybe that helped it heal. I’m baffled honestly!

And it was a barred owl. It was spotted right down the road from our house.
