Hawk is taking my chicks

I have a hawk that keeps trying to take my chickens and chicks anyone know how to get rid of him

depends have a cage paint it black so the hawk will fly in to the cage to know not to mess with them

Noise and a secure pen.Even bird netting is better than nothing.It will tangle them up.Once they can not get the chicks after many tries they MIGHT move on.Mine is still around but has not attacked.

If the CDs are all stuff like Bruce Willis, Milli Vanilli, or Paris Hilton, they will for sure keep everything away.

Secure pen, secure pen....yadda yadda yadda. So the hawk goes to look for chicks in a "non-secure" pen? What do you do if you see a suspicious-looking person down the street/road from your home? Make your kids stay indoors all the time? I like free-ranging my birds, and that's rather difficult to do while keeping them "securely" penned. I'm not hanging a bunch of stuff in the yard to discourage a predator.
