This little guy got used to being a free bird when I was outside working on their coops and this morning he thought he could just walk right out and do his routine so my grrrrl Hannah kept watch until I realized what he’s done

We have a lot more hawk activity lately. The crows have been very busy.

I always fed the crows and had a very protective family that lived on my property. Their warning cries saved many a bird.

Oh man, I wish my dogs would be guards. I really really do. Great dogs who are couch potatoes inside, but prey driven monsters outside.

Hannah is my foundation dog for LGDs I used to breed. I don't breed any more. They are very in tune with their animals. Specificlly bred to do just what she in doing in that photo.
