Hay for Rabbits

What kind of hay do you feed your adult rabbits?

When I had rabbits, I just gave them timothy hay.

Timothy? Is that the same as the regular hay? I hope I'm explaining that right.

Timothy hay simply means hay made from timothy grass. Its commonly used for small animals because it has good nutrition plus lots of fiber which they need in their diet. Rabbit pellets are extra hard to help rabbits keep their teeth worn down. Hay also helps do this and timothy has hard, fiberous stalks.

If you can't find it at your local feedstore, most petstores carry it.
