He Crowed!!!!

My roo is now 20+ weeks old and he hiccuped, and honked but never crowed that I ever heard until today!!!!

I was so proud I ran over to the coop and picked him up and hugged him!

I think I blew his mind... but he got a hug and a piece of pear for doing what most people hate. BUT I'm proud of him!!!

LOL, I was excited, too....Until I realized it was the wrong roo crowing. My buddy roo wasn't doing anything, and didn't till he was 7 months old....Congrats!!!

The downside is, now that he does it, maybe he won't stop! I finally got me a roo last weekend and I timed him for 2 minutes and he crowed 18 times! POOR NEIGHBORS! He crows when the suns up, down, rising, setting or a cat is in sight (sucks that the land is flat bacause the cat is about 300 feet from him!)

We aren't allowed roosters here but we raised some roosters on accident and when they crowed, I thought it was wonderful!!
