This is a picture of one of our hatchlings from this fall.
HE.... I repeat.. HE sealed his fate this am.
He crowed. He must go. I may have found a home for him.
If I find no home.. he and his brother (whom has NOT crowed yet)
will go to Freezer camp this spring.
It was rather humorous. He let out a rr-rr-rrr-rrrr.... and then his
surrogate mother (the cochin) pecked him on the head, very hard, about 4
times. I think she was telling him to "hush... or they are going to eat you!"
Also.. here is a picture of Midnight and her "sons" today. They are
10 weeks old and she still coddles them. The one behind her and almost under her,
still tries desperately to climb underneath her. He also still makes a 'peep" noise. His voice has not changed yet.
