head bitten

i have had 3 chickens with their heads i guess bitten their eyes are swollen shut.and puffy it only happend in one pen where they can be gotten what would chew on their heads but not kill them.

Wow, I have no idea! Are you treating them or cleaning them with anything? Do they have puncture wounds? I'm so sorry.

There is a disease called Coryza that makes eyes swell like that. You may want to do a search and compare your chickies' symptoms.

It may have been a snake. I found one of my girls dead in the coop about a year ago. Her head was all wet because the dumb snake tried to swallow her but she was too big. He suffocated her. If I had found him......
