Sadly weasel are nearly impossible to protect from, try trapping it maybe. We use LGD dogs, turkish kangals and they kill anything that comes inside our perimeter fence so if you have a farm and plan to always have one most farms have a dog so maybe consider the next dog you get to be an LGD dog. We have 3 turkish kangals and they are worth their weight in gold. We have hundreds of birds in predator infested northern MI and have not lost a bird to a predator in nearly 10 years but find dead predators that have tried all the time.

That's very creepy thinking about a human doing that......
.......but the lack of splatter is very strange, even if a human did do it right there in the nest.

Unless they broke it's neck then cut off the head after the bird was dead and blood flow had stopped....
...even creepier.

Get a game cam, hide it well...and/or maybe locks on the human doors.
