I currently use Layena and I also give them dried mealworms as a treat from time to time, is there a different brand that has superior nutrition? Thanks

I was wondering about this too. I need to buy feed soon and was wondering if there was something better...

I use Purina and Nutrena feed because that's what they sell here in the feed store, and it's conveniently already a balanced diet for laying hens. Which one depends on price and coupon availability, I think they are comparable in quality, and my chickens look great. I also supplement with oats, yogurt, and sunflower seed meats for treats....small flock(7). Nutrena makes a 20% protein layer pellet too, that is nice for colder winter weather.
