Hi all, hopefully somebody can shine a light on what's going on and what I can do about it..
My Rhode Island Red in plucking out her feathers bebahind her neck and abiove her tail and on her chest. I've had a look and her skin seems perfectly clear of any bugs, mites or injury.
At night she has been sleeping with my broody girl who is sitting on some eggs, I thought perhaps she was becoming broody too but the feather plucking is not the same as when she's broody.
She's eating fine, pooping fine, and generally seems healthy. I have 10 hens and no-one else is doing this. It is Autumn here, day times are still warm but the nights will start to get a chilly before too long.
Any advice would be welcome, thanks!
