Healthy Chicken Muffins =)

Hey there NotTheMomma.

On cold days in the fall, I core out apples and fill them with a mix of shredded carrot, sweet feed, raisins, a dash of sunflower oil and whatever else might be in the fridge/pantry, then I bake them for about 25 minutes til soft.

The horses about come through the fence to get them

I dont understand why our friends think our animals are spoiled....

The muffins arrived this morning safe and sound. Great packaging by the way. They smell yummy! I left the box on my desk while I went to a meeting and the nosey architect in the office next to mine was picking thru them when I got back, and was fixing to take one as a snack (he was apparently raised in a barn, no manners at all). I told him they were for the chickens, he thought I was lying & just didn't want to "share"

I can't wait to get home this afternoon and let the girls try them!
