Sadly the first chick that externally pipped before the others, didn't make it failing to zip but 16 others did hatch! Pretty happy with my first try at incubating.

First time incubating eggs and now at day 20. I heard a chirp tonight! Does this mean a chick has internally or externally pipped?

Isn’t the sound beautiful! I’m a new incubator also, usually the hens do the work, my first hatch in the bator I felt like I was giving birth! lol I’m nuts. It is a very joyful experience that I wish everyone could experience. Good luck!
