heart attack?

I sold 4 of my 1.5 year old hens last night and one of them croaked on the way home with the buyer. He had them in a very large wire cage and the only thing I can think of is that she had a heart attack with the stress of moving. She has been fine for the past year and now this?

Heart attack is a possibility. But as hot as it has been, I would suspect the heat got to her, added stress.

yes stress and heart attacks can kill a bird immediately. Sorry about that when it happens.
