Hi
My pullets are about 19 weeks. They are normally very friendly and not bothered to be around people/ picked up. However over the past 2 days they seem very skittish, run away as soon as I enter the coop.
It's very hot in the UK. Currently having a mini heat wave and it's very humid. They don't seem to be suffering. Their coop is in well shaded area of garden and give them regular water changes and cooling treats. They are eating drinking and popping as normal. There is not signs of any attempted intrusion overnight and they have several hours supervised free roaming a day.
Could this new behaviour be due to the heat?
