I am finally able to collect some of the guinea eggs for eating. I marked all the eggs when I found the nest and go back each night and collect the unmarked (fresh) ones. My question is whether they are probably safe to eat given that the temps around here have been in the upper 90s during the day. Like I said I collect daily so they aren't out in the nest more than 24 hours. I don't know what time of day the hen is laying them, so no help narrowing down how long they are there before I get them. Thanks for any input.

I would say yes if they are in the shade and not in direct sunlight, our temps here in Missouri have been HIGH all summer, I collect our chicken eggs late in the day, never had a bad one yet.

If in any doubt, crack one open and smell it - you'll know if its good or not!!!
