Heat lamp meat chicks

I have 35 Cornish x meat birds they are 10 days old they still huddle under the heat lamp, when should I turn it off it's only 30 at night here everything I've read they grow super fast which they are but there not getting a lot of feathers yet am I just being impatient or should I start turning it off during the day and on at night? any help would be appreciated thank you !

They will let you know when they are ready to go without the lamp by spreading out in the brooder. 30 is way too cold if they are not fully feathered yet, and if you don't turn the heat up for them there's a possibility of them smothering each other while piling up to stay warm.

30 is too cold without a heat lamp if they're not completely feathered. Leave the heat lamp on until they become fully feathered.
