Heat Plate?

I have 3 chickens who are 8 weeks old, 2 ducks that are 6 weeks old and all are fully feathered. I bought a heat plate for their coop outside and we’re going to be in the 30’s tonight. Should I use the heat plate or are they old enough that they will be alright?

They'll be fine. They do not need any supplemental heat any longer.
