heat took my little

My poor 7 month old chicken died from heat today. 114 in Phoenix. I'm heart broken. I only had 2 chickens. I'm worried about my other chicken being alone but afraid to get another with the heat so high. Any suggestions?

bring the chicken inside and set up a little place with food and water for it like a bathroom and when it gets cool out again put her outside and get more chicken friends like three more.
