Heated water hose option for watering in winter.

I have a query for all you engineer types for watering. I have an expensive heated water hose with a heat line running all the way down one side of the hose that is automatically activated when the temps outside reach 32°. It was a wonderful feature for the RV. So there is room to add some drinking nipples on. Has anyone tried this? I think it would be a brilliant reuse of a hose.

I would not want the faucet open 24/7. Potential for bigger problems .

That’s the thing with TC’s they are open 24/7. I covered the faucet and line with a wool blanket and fake rock. It worked awesome for the RV for over 6 Winter’s.
