Heaviest,Largest egg per breed contest?

I see many on-line poultry shows here,and dark egg contests,,,but has there been any egg weight contests before? I have a wheaton marans egg that is right at 100 grams,,twice the weight of my fbc marans eggs,,I got the egg yesterday and all are pullets in the pen,,I'm tempted to throw it into the bator and see what happens,but it is HUGE,,,,color is not that super dark,but it's size is a conversation starter.

I think if there were a contest for heaviest egg, it would be nice to have one that shows the hen that lays the heaviest egg every day, not just the occassional freak one like you got. lol

We have had those 100 gram eggs several times..all from the same hen that lays a 75 gram nearly every day but then she will pop out a big one for us...

. Mine is a good ol mix daddy roo was a RIR momma hen BSL .I have crossed my hen onto my Welsumer and have a few real big chicks growing now..they had a head start being from such a big egg.Here we have so many 70+ gram eggs I don't think much about it any longer.
