Hi everyone.
I’m kimmi aka the loony chicken lady
Ive been a backyard chicken keeper for about a year now. Started out with 5 village chickens which wandered in and decided they wanted to live with us so we built them a house. Have about 30 in the flock now with a mix of breeds: orpingtons, easter eggers, pekin bantams, light sussex, leghorns, polish bantams, wyandottes, astralorpes, copper marans.
I love my chickens they are my little fluffy babies and I love getting to know each of their personalities and learning about the various breeds etc. if youd like to see any of the feathered babies just go check out my instagram @loonychickenlady And you can get to know all the personalities.
Ive been using BYC to help solve some issues along the way as I started out and I think itll be great to be a part of the community here now- excited!
