Hello, I have two ducks. Soul Patch, male, and Dreamcatcher, female. Recently, Oklahoma's weather has been sketchy and I hadn't had the time to properly keep my ducks warm because of school and me being stupid. Because of my stupidity, my girl duck is acting and looking poorly. Her feathers no longer have the needed oil on them, and she's weak. Oh, I forgot to mention that she's a mascovie duck. We seperated her from my drake, Soulpatch and have her in a dog cage in side the house. She'll drink everyonce in a while, and eat a little. I gave her some mashed banana and a little bit of yogurt, with corn and her regular duck feed. I also have a heater on her, hoping she'll stay warm from the cold. I don't know what's wrong with her. Can someone help and offer some advice?

We originally got Soulpatch because my mother came home one day with a baby malard, which we had named Houdini because when we put him in the small cage, he could fit through the holes, and escaped. So, the next day we went to a nearby Lumber 2 and got a baby duckling so Houdini could have a friend. Well, Houdini has grown up with Soulpatch, but one day when I was walking home from school, I knoticed that Houdini wasn't in the fence. He had flown away, or something. So inturn, we got Dreamcatcher. I suspect, that if she makes it, we'll have baby ducklings. IF she makes it. So please, help.

. How often does your male mate her? Muscovies can be very aggressive when it comes to mating. Has she laid eggs at all?

Thank you. ^^

The male is a regular barn yard duck, I have no idea of what his genes are. But he had mated with her two times that I know of, the second time I took a picture. And no, she hasn't yet. They are both from this last Sprin's hatching.
