My name is Jessica and my family and I have had chickens for about a year now... and we love them! We have Leroy who a bit of a mut roo and he's about 1yr old. Then we have there's Madea, our oldest lady, a beautiful Dominiquer. Then we have 3 Rhode Island Reds and 3 Australorps, all ladies.... and they are a wonderful flock We are getting ready for the 4H chicken chain project, building a second coop for 6 silver laced wyandottes that will arrive the end of May. We have learned ALOT since we became chicken people and I only wish we'd have done this sooner.
